Provide quality services, treatment and supervision to juvenile offenders with an emphasis on Evidence-Based Practices, while balancing youth redemption, victim restoration and community protection.
Juvenile Court Services is also responsible for the scheduling of dependency hearings before the Juvenile Court Master and all delinquency hearings. Proceedings are open to the public if they meet the requirements of the Juvenile Act 42 PA C.S. Sec. 6336 (e).
Hours of Operation
Juvenile Court Services is opened from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The office is closed between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. however there is an answering machine and messages may be left.
Butler County Juvenile Court Services has twenty employees consisting of:
The Chief County Probation Officer, the Deputy Director, two (2) Supervisors, two (2) Intake Juvenile Probation Officers, eight (8) Community Based Juvenile Probation Officers, one (1) Community Service Coordinator, and four (4) clerical staff.
