Alameda Pool is waiting for you and your family with our 104’ flume slide, The Purple Panango (interactive water play structure), 2 diving boards, a concession stand, a deep well tube slide, programs and classes galore, the Alameda Gator Swim Team, and the friendliest, most professional staff in Butler County. We open the doors on Saturday, June 1 and we offer group swim lessons, private swim lessons, adult swim lessons, a competitive swim team, lifeguard classes, CPR classes, Moonlight Swims, family fun nights, private pool parties, and birthday party packages all summer long. We try to have something for everyone, and if we don’t, just ask and we will try to get it done! Call the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department for more details. POLICIES and GUIDLINES
v Alameda Pool and The Kid’s Zone Playground areas are tobacco-free areas. No tobacco products may be used within 20 feet of entrances.
v Pool Membership Passes may be purchased at the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department in Alameda Park. Passes may not be purchased at the pool.
v Children 2 and under are free with adult admission and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
v Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible person age 16 or older.
v The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to refuse admittance.
v All children who are not potty-trained must wear a swim diaper.
v Floatable rafts, swim tubes, noodles etc. are permitted at the discretion of the pool staff.
v Inflatable arm supports (water wings) are not permitted.
v Swimmers must be dressed in appropriate swimwear.
v Please use gender-appropriate locker rooms with school age children.
v Coolers and outside food or drink are not permitted. Medical coolers with medical supplies are exempted. Please check with cashier for your medical band.
v Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges are reserved for those patrons that are 16 years of age and older.
HOURS of OPERATION
v Saturday, June 1 – Sunday, August 25. Open for public swimming Monday – Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Weather permitting.
v Alameda Pool may close early or open late due to special events.
v The pool will be closing early at 5:00 p.m. due to home swim meets on Mondays - June 24, July 1, and July 8.
INCLEMENT WEATHER / POOL CLOSINGS
Alameda Pool may close due to inclement weather. The Pool staff will clear the pool area at the first sound of thunder. If the pool stays closed for 1 hour or more, the pool may remain closed for the remainder of the day. If the pool remains closed, no cash refunds will be issued. Alameda Pool and the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department have a no-refund policy in effect for all programs, passes, and daily admissions. Alameda Pool may close or fail to open if the outdoor temperature is at 70 degrees or below. If attendance drops below 10 patrons, Alameda Pool may close. Alameda Pool hours may vary due to scheduled special events. Please call the Butler County Parks and Recreation Office for more information.
Pool Membership and Admission Prices
ALAMEDA POOL MEMBERSHIP
Family Membership A Family is identified as parent(s) and any unmarried children ages 25 and under who reside in the same household. (Proof of residency is required)
Senior Membership
A person 62 years of age or older.
Single Membership
A person between 3 and 61 years of age.
Nanny Membership
Is identified as any person who does not live in the family membership household and is supervising and/or providing childcare for a member on the Family Membership Pass. The Nanny Pass is valid only when accompanying an individual listed on the sponsoring Family Membership Pass. This pass may only be purchased in conjunction with a family membership and is non-transferable and non-refundable. Two Nanny Passes are permitted per Family Pass.
