Introduction
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department operates year-round, bringing the residents of Butler County quality, affordable recreational opportunities. The Parks and Recreation Department regularly submits press releases to all of the local media. Our programs are advertised on the radio and in the print medias. Many of the programs that are offered by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department have minimum and maximum participant requirements, and registration deadlines. If you are interested in attending a program or class, be sure to register early. The Butler County
Parks and Recreation Department has a no-refund policy for all programs and rentals. This also applies to Alameda Pool admissions and aquatic programs.
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department may be offering additional programs that were not available at the time of printing. Please call the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department for programs that have been added after this website was updated.
By registering or participating in any Butler County Parks and Recreation Department activities you agree to allow publication of any photo or video taken at any program, event or facility. The County of Butler, without obligation to provide compensation to those photographed, may use such photographs. Photos and video taken at activities may be used for publication as the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department and its sponsors deem necessary. If you have an idea for a program, would like us to expand on our current programs, or have any questions or comments, please let us know. Alameda Pool and The Kid's Zone Playground areas are tobacco-free areas. No tobacco products may be used within 20 feet of entrances.
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department has a no-refund policy in effect for all programs and for Alameda Pool.
Most Classes are limited in size. Registration will be on a first come-first serve basis.
Payment is expected at the time of registration. Cash, money orders, or personal checks. Please make checks payable to "County of Butler".
Please check the programs for which you are registered. No confirmation notices will be sent.

The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient registration. Unless notified, classes will begin as scheduled.

Alameda Pool may be closed for reasons of poor weather or attendance, safety factors, or special events. Please see our pool rules and regulations for a complete listing of policies and guidelines.

Community Trunk Sale, Saturday, May 11th, Masonic Shelter. The fee is only $5.00 per space, or $8.00 for two spaces.
Spring Garden Market & Home Show, Alameda Park Saturday, May 18, 9:00-4:00.
Alameda Pool will open on Saturday, June 1, 2013 and will remain open through August 25, 2013.
Applications are now being accepted for Pool Memberships, Swim Lessons (Group & Private), Swim Team, Camp Alameda, Ultimate Frisbee & Sand Volleyball leagues and Shelter rentals for various events.
