{Courts} The Butler County Juvenile Court Services office is responsible for processing all allegations of delinquency for youths between the ages of ten (10) and eighteen (18) and for the supervision of all youth requiring court assigned treatment, supervision and rehabilitation consistent with the principles of balanced and restorative justice. Juvenile Court Schedules The information published on this website regarding the juvenile hearings are maintained by Juvenile Court Services. There can be last minutes changes, continuances and/or cancellation. You can contact Juvenile Court Services at 724-284-5355 if you believe there has been a change in the status of a case on the schedule, or to report any additional information. Unless otherwise indicated, all juvenile hearings are held in the juvenile court hearing room, which is located in the basement level of the courthouse. All juvenile dependency hearings are open to the public unless closed by the Juvenile Court Judge/Master for reasons pertaining to statutorily protected confidentiality or for any other reason deemed necessary by the Court. All juvenile delinquency hearings are closed to the public pursuant to the statutory requirements of The Juvenile Act (42 Pa. C.S. Sec 6301 et seq.). EXCEPTION: If an individual juvenile delinquency case is denoted with an asterisk " * " on the posted Juvenile Court Delinquency Hearing schedule this is an open hearing and the public is welcome to attend unless closed by the Juvenile Court Judge/Master.
