Alameda Waterpark Policies

Saturday June 3rd -  Sunday August 27th

 

Alameda Waterpark is waiting for you and your family with a Pirate's Cove Splash Pad as well as 2 enclosed tube slides, 2 toddler zero entries, new picnic tables, umbrellas and sitting concrete wall lining the entrance of the pool.  The diving well now features a new Aqua Rock wall, 2 diving boards, and a new drop slide. We offer our great concession stand, different programs and classes galore, the Alameda Gator Swim Team, and the most professional staff in Butler County.  We open the doors on Saturday June 3rd and we offer group swim lessons, private swim lessons, adult swim lessons, a competitive swim team, lifeguard classes, CPR classes, Moonlight Swims, private pool parties, and birthday party packages all summer long.

Policies and Guidelines

  • Waterpark Members will receive the Early Entry Advantage at the side gate from 12:00 p.m.-12:15 p.m. Non members will be able to enter the pool area at 12:15pm and the pool will remain open until 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. 
  • Alameda Waterpark and The Kid’s Zone Playground areas are tobacco-free areas. No tobacco products may be used within 20 feet of entrances. This also includes the use of any E-Cigarettes.
  • The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department has a no-refund policy in effect for all programs and for Alameda Waterpark.
  • Waterpark Membership Passes may be purchased at the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department in Alameda Park. Passes may not be purchased at the Waterpark.
  • Children 2 and under are free with adult admission and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible person age 16 or older.
  • The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to refuse admittance.
  • All children who are not potty-trained must wear a swim diaper.
  • Floatable rafts, swim tubes, noodles etc. are permitted at the discretion of the pool staff.
  • Inflatable arm supports (water wings) are not permitted.
  • Swimmers must be dressed in appropriate swimwear.
  • Please use gender-appropriate locker rooms with school age children.
  • The use of goggles are not permitted on slides or diving well area. 
  • The diving mask is not permitted to be used in the pool area. Nose plugs and goggles can not be combined are not permitted either.
  • Coolers and outside food or drink are not permitted. Medical coolers with medical supplies are exempted. Please check with cashier for your medical band.
  • Adirondack chairs are reserved for those patrons that are 16 years of age and older.
  • All guests must behave in a family-friendly and courteous manner, and a manner which is safe for themselves and for others. Violations may result in ejection from the Waterpark, without refund. The following is strictly prohibited: Smoking, offensive conduct, fighting, unruly behavior, property damage/theft. 

 

Hours of Operation

  • Saturday June 3rd- Sunday August 27th.  Open for public swimming Monday – Sunday 12:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Weather permitting.
  • Alameda Waterpark may close early or open late due to special events.
  • The Waterpark will be closing early at 5:00 pm due to home swim meets on Thursdays, dates are Thursday June 15 and Thursday June 22. 

 

Inclement Weather/Waterpark Closings

Alameda Waterpark may close due to inclement weather.  The Waterpark staff will clear the area at the first sound of thunder. If the Waterpark stays closed for 1 hour or more, the Waterpark may remain closed for the remainder of the day. If the Waterpark remains closed, no cash refunds will be issued. Alameda Waterpark and the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department have a no-refund policy in effect for all programs, passes, and daily admissions. Alameda Waterpark may close or fail to open if the outdoor temperature is at 70 degrees or below. If attendance drops below 10 patrons.  Alameda Waterpark hours may vary due to scheduled special events. Please call the Butler County Parks and Recreation Office for more information. Waterpark Membership Prices 2017

 

Senior Membership is identified as a person 62 years of age or older.

Nanny Membership-Is identified as any person who does not live in the membership household and is supervising and/or providing childcare for a member on the Membership Pass.  The Nanny Pass is valid only when accompanying an individual listed on the sponsoring Membership. This pass may only be purchased in conjunction with a  membership and is non-transferable and non-refundable. Two Nanny Passes are permitted per membership.

Family Membership-is identified as parent(s) and unmarried children under age 22 residing in the same household. Adult children 22 years of age and older, as well as other relatives residing the same household are required to purchase their own membership pass.

* Memberships purchased will need to provide a 1"x1" facial photo of each person listed on the pass, you may not use previous membership pictures.

Admission Prices

  • Daily Admission: $6.00 (After 4:30 p.m. weekday daily admission rates, Monday – Friday, excluding holidays, will be reduced by 50%. Ages 2 and under are free every day.)
  • Pass Cards: (10 admissions) $50.00
  • Moonlight Swim: Free for members, $4.00 per person for nonmembers, 2 and under are free.
  • Private Waterpark Rental 
    • Members - $200.00 per hour.  3-hour or more rentals include a dive-in movie.
    • Non-members: $225.00 per hour. 3-hour or more rentals include a dive-in movie.
  • Birthday Party Shelter Rental
    • Members: $50.00 per hour, includes 10 admissions per hour rental.
    • Non-members: $50.00 per hour, includes 8 admissions per hour rental.
    • Members and Non-members can host a 3 hour party at a discounted rate of $135.00. 
    • Birthday parties may provide cake for the party, however all other foods are not permitted inside the pool area.                   Party guests may eat outside of the Waterpark at picnic tables or order food packages from our concession stand.

 

Summer Specials

  • Under age 12 (and accompanied by an adult age 16 or older) will receive half off admissions every Thursday
  • Sunday Family Special  A family of up to 5 persons admitted for $20.00, every Sunday.
  • Father's Day, All Dads are admitted free, when accompanied by a child.
  • 4th of July  Half Price for anyone wearing red, white and blue
  • Rain checks will be available if the pool closes early due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, prior to 6:00 p.m. to those paying daily admission, and bearing a receipt proving admission.

  • Popcorn Bucket: Buy a popcorn bucket for $6.00, and get refills for $1.00 all summer
  • Drink Bottle: Buy a drink bottle for $6.00, and get refills for $1.00 all summer

School Daze

The Butler County Board of Commissioners wants to honor all of the school students in Butler County.  Each week a different school will be our guest of honor at Alameda Pool.  All you have to do is wear a piece of clothing with your school’s name or logo on it, or present your school I.D. and you will receive half off admission to the pool on the day your school is honored.  Check below to see which day your school is being featured.

In the event that your school daze day is rained out, all make-ups will be on Monday, August 14, 2017.

 

Adult Swim

Alameda Pool holds an adult swim at 4:00 pm daily.   Adult swims may begin at 1:00 pm, at the discretion of the supervisor on duty.  At this time only swimmers 18 years of age or older are permitted to be in the water. Children age 5 and under are permitted in the zero entry area only if accompanied directly by an adult 18 years of age or older in the water.

 

“S” Test Program

Any swimmer 12 years or under that wishes to use the diving board drop slide, and Aqua Rock Wall in the deep well must first pass our “S” test program. The swimmer will be required to swim across the diving well and back without assistance and not stopping to hold onto the safety rope. The swimmer will follow closely to the safety rope under the direct supervision of a lifeguard. Once the swimmer successfully completes the swim, the swimmer will be awarded a “swimmer wristband”. Only one wristband per swimmer will be issued. Replacements may be purchased for $2.00. The special wristband needs to be displayed on the swimmer at all times when using the diving well area.

If interested in taking the “S” test, please stop by the First Aid station and see any of our lifeguards to schedule a time to attempt the test.

 

Private Pool Rentals

Alameda Pool is available for private pool rentals.  The pool is available after any scheduled events or activities. 

Private rentals must be scheduled through the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department. 

Cost is $200.00 per hour for pool members and $225.00 per hour for non-members.  All private pool parties scheduled for 3 hours or more also include a dive-in movie at no additional cost. Arrangements can also be made for additional entertainment and refreshments!  Enjoy a private party at Alameda Pool.

 

Birthday Packages

What could be more enjoyable than having a birthday party at Alameda Waterpark?  We have birthday packages available that include refreshments and swimming for your guests.   Bring them to Alameda and let us do the cleanup, while you have the fun.  Contact the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department to schedule your party at Alameda Waterpark.

Bring your own cake for you and your guests and purchase food packages from Alameda concessions, contact the office for more information.

At 8:30pm. every other Friday dive in and watch a favorite Family Movie!

Moonlight Swims are from 8:30pm until 10:30pm. Cost is FREE for members and $4.00/person for non-members, and as always 2 and under are free.
